Thursday, July 10

Movie: “Age of Champions,” an award-winning documentary that follows five competitors who sprint, leap, and swim for gold at the National Senior Olympics, 8:30 pm in the Camden Amphitheatre, hosted by CIFF and the Camden Public Library. Bring blankets or chairs for seating.


Monday, July 14

Louise Bakley presents “Heilkunst Sequential Homeopathy: A safe, gentle, and non-toxic treatment for a wide range of acute and chronic disease conditions,” at the Wellness Brown Bag Lunch Series, noontime at the Camden Public Library, co-sponsored by the Library and PenBay Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Free Monday Night Movie in the Park: “My Man Godfrey” (1936; 94 minutes) B&W. In the Amphitheatre, 8:30 pm; bring blankets or chairs for seating. Sponsored by Camden Public Library and Camden National Bank. In the case of wet weather, the movie will be shown indoors.


Tuesday, July 15

“Two Maine Authors,” Alison Dibble and Roger M. Woodbury, on the process of fiction writing and self-publishing. Although each of their voices is distinct, there is a resonance between their work. 7:00 pm at the Camden Public Library.


Wednesday, July 16

Wednesday in the Park concert series features “Just Teachers,” 5:00 pm, Camden Amphitheatre, sponsored by Camden Parks & Recreation, Camden Cone, and Admiral’s Buttons.


Thursday, July 17

 “Novel Jazz” seven-piece jazz band, free concert in the Camden Amphitheatre, 7:00 pm. First concert in the Camden Public Library’s free Summer Music Series; bring blankets or chairs for seating. Sponsored by Camden National Bank. In the case of rain, the concert will be held indoors in the Reading Room.


Friday, July 18

Outdoor Book Sale to benefit the Camden Public Library. Under the tents at the library, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.


Saturday, July 19

Outdoor Book Sale at the Harbor Arts Festival to benefit the Camden Public Library. Under the tents at the library, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.


Sunday, July 20

Outdoor Book Sale at the Harbor Arts Festival to benefit the Camden Public Library. Under the tents at the library, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.


Monday, July 21

Retired Maine warden and author John Ford Sr. presents “Suddenly the Cider Didn’t Taste So Good,” 7:00 pm at the Camden Public Library.


Wednesday, July 23

Wednesday in the Park concert series features guitarist Jim Gallant, 12:00 noon, hosted by Camden Parks & Recreation and sponsored by Schooner Olad and Harbor Dogs. In the case of rain, the concert will move indoors.

Camden Shakespeare Festival  presents “As You Like It,” in the Camden Amphitheater, 6:00 pm. For reservations call  207-464-0008. The Camden Public Library is the venue sponsor for the Shakespeare performances.
