TREKKAPALOOZA 2014: RECRUITING MAINE’S GREATEST BANDS!!!

Rockland, Maine - Trekkers tenth annual Trekkapalooza concert will showcase a diverse and talented set of Maine-based acts in an energizing and fun “Battle of the Bands.”  Trekkers is opening up two spots at this year’s event for bands with a unique sound and style that can add to the already amazing line-up of talent.  If selected to perform at Trekkapalooza, bands will be eligible to win a cash prize and be crowned “Best Bus Band 2014.”

If you have musical talent and would be interested in performing at Trekkapalooza 2014, please contact the Trekkers office at 594-5095, or email don@trekkers.org. The Trekkapalooza committee is looking for musical acts of all ages and styles.

Trekkapalooza 2014 will take place on Saturday, January 25th at  7 p.m.  at the Strand Theatre on Main Street in Rockland. Tickets are on sale for $10 each and can be purchased at the Trekkers office or by calling 594-5095. Tickets will also be available at the door for $12 each, starting at 6:30 p.m. on the night of the show.

All proceeds from this student-led fundraiser will benefit Trekkers, a youth mentoring organization that serves 7th through 12th grade students growing up in the communities of Regional School Unit #13. If you would like to learn more about Trekkers, please visit our web site at www.trekkers.org.
