“You can find historic photographs of your house, your town, or your grandfather’s ship by searching our online database,” says Kevin Johnson, the museum’s photography curator, “these photographs illustrate life in Maine.” Penobscot Marine Museum’s photography collection is one of the largest collections of historic photographs in New England.
