Blue Hill, Maine - The Friends of the Blue Hill Public Library Film Series continues with a showing of the musical film Grease (1978) on Thursday, December 12th at 7:00 PM. Starring Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta and set in the 1950’s, Grease is based on the 1971 musical of the same name, about two teenagers who fall in love over the summer and unexpectedly end up in the same high school in the fall.
The film received 4 Golden Globe awards, 2 People’s Choice awards and an Academy Award for Best Original Song.
