UPDATE 10PM - The power been restored after being knocked out by a red Nissan pickup truck that snapped a power pole in half. Camden street has since reopened to traffic.
BREAKING NEWS: Camden street in Rockland is closed near Cedar street due to a single vehicle accident. The power is out on most of the north end of Rockland.
The crash happened just before 7pm across from Hole In The Wall and by SteelPro on the waterfront involving a red Nissan pickup truck being held up by one single tree on an embankment, a female driver was transported to Pen Bay.
According to Central Maine Power outage map there are 671 customers without power.
Central Maine Power has a crew on scene repairing the pole, which was taken out completely by the Nissan. Power lines were left strewn in the roadway after the crash.
