Classes and music and dance, oh my!

Kittery, Maine - A diversity of classes, events and performances are coming up at The Dance Hall this new year starting with the 2nd Friday Latin Dance Social on Friday, January 11, 2013.  Beginning with a dance lesson from 7-8:30pm with Piotrek of the Metamovements Dance Company in Boston, the evening heats up with DJ Nicanor mixing it up with Salsa, Cha Cha, Bachata, and Merengue from 8:30-11pm. Later in January the Hall will host the first Ballroom Dance Party on January 26. February continues with more dances including a Contradance on February 16,  into eclectic performances events in March like Low & Lower, a bass and cello duo, and the original event In Ears 'N' Eyes, a music, dance and visual art extravaganza.

The Dance Hall resumes an array of classes this winter with accomplished artists including tap, ballroom, contemporary, belly dance, and West African dance and drum.
