4:30 p.m. Secretary Clinton attends a meeting at the White House.

DEPUTY SECRETARY BILL BURNS
Deputy Secretary Burns is on travel to New York to receive the New York State Bar Association’s Distinction in International Law and Affairs Award on behalf of the ‘career diplomat,’ this year’s honoree.

DEPUTY SECRETARY TOM NIDES3:00 p.m. Deputy Secretary Nides meets with Ambassadors from the American Academy of Diplomacy, at the Department of State.

UNDER SECRETARY FOR ECONOMIC GROWTH, ENERGY, AND THE ENVIRONMENT ROBERT HORMATS
Under Secretary Hormats is on foreign travel in Davos, Switzerland to participate in the World Economic Forum through January 25. He also travels to New Delhi, India to participate in the Confederation of India Industry (CII), through February 1.
9:00 a.m. LOCAL Under Secretary Hormats attends a panel discussion on The Global Energy Context, in Davos, Switzerland.
12:00 p.m. LOCAL Under Secretary Hormats attends a high-level panel discussion, “East vs. West: Re-Shaping the World,” exploring the geo-political and economic forces fundamentally changing the world, with particular focus on the implications for Europe and China, in Davos, Switzerland.
1:30 p.m. LOCAL Under Secretary Hormats meets with Dr. John Noseworthy, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mayo Clinic, in Davos, Switzerland.
3:00 p.m. LOCAL Under Secretary Hormats attends a meeting with Iain Conn, Managing Director and Chief Executive Refining and Marketing, BP, in Davos, Switzerland.
