MEET INSIDER: Miranda Cosgrove

Los Angeles, CA - Our latest MEET INSIDER article features Miranda Cosgrove who plays Carly on Nickelodeon's ICarly. We picked the talented Miranda Cosgrove for our latest MEET INSIDER as she has been following her dreams in Los Angeles from such a young age.
Miranda Cosgrove was born in Los Angels, California on May 14, 1993 as the only child in her family. Her parents didn't know she would be discovered as an upcoming star at a young age singing and dancing around their table in a restaurant . It didn't take long for an agent to quickly see Miss Cosgrove talent and sign her. Miss Cosgrove did several commercials for such companies as Burger King and McDonalds. She also did several auditions before landing a role in the movie "The School Of Rock" in 2003, out of around a thousand people, as the band manager, which was her first debut movie. While filming "The School Of Rock" in New York, she got notified her pilot for "Drake and Josh" got picked up by Nickelodeon. On "Drake and Josh" she was their little sister, who enjoyed playing pranks on them. In 2005 Miranda did a voice over for
"Here Comes Peter Cottontail: The Movie" and starred in the movie "Yours, Mine and Ours". We will go in depth on what her television, movie credits are and appearances she made below.
Cosgrove along with staring in

Miranda has been in the following television series and movies from 2007 to 2012, one episode of The Naked Brothers Band as Miranda (2007), iCarly Webisodes as Carly Shay (2007), ICarly as Carly Shay (2007-Present), Zoey 101 episode called Paige At PCA as Paige Howard (2007), Just Jordan episode called Piano Stressin as Lindsey Chandler (2007), Unfabulous episode called The Talent Show as Cosmina (2007), ICarly: IGo to Japan as Carly Shay (2008), Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh as Megan Parker (2008), The Wild Stallion as Hannah (2009), Home Makeover as Margo, a short (2010), Despicable Me as the voice of Margo (2010), The Good Wife episode called Bad Girls as Sloan Burchfield (2010), Despicable Me Presents: Minion Madness as the voice of Margo (2010), the short Deal (2011) and Vevo Area Codes (2011). As you can see from the list that Miranda as been a busy young woman with being in several TV series and movies.
Miranda has made several appearances through the years which we will hit on in this section of our article on Miss Cosgrove a little. She has made appearances at Good Morning America (2003), Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards (2004, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011), MTV Movie Awards (2004, 2009, 2010), Live With Kelly (2007-2008) and Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (2008, 2010) just to name a few. Miss Cosgrove has not just been busy filming new movies and TV series, she's been working on the music side of her career. Miranda has done the soundtrack for ICarly that debut in June of 2008, and released her first debut album called Sparks Fly on April 27th, 2010. She has also been on tour called Dancing Crazy Tour that started January 24, 2011 in Kansas City, Missouri at Uptown Theater and ended August 10th, 2011 at Fraze Pavilion in Kettering, Ohio. There was a break from touring between February 26 to July 14th, 2011. Miranda is currently filming more episodes of ICarly and plans to go to college in the fall.
