Upcoming Event: 3rd Annual Pig Roast & Toys for Tots Drive!

3rd Annual Pig Roast & Toys for Tots Drive!

Each event that Friends for Friends hosts is important for two reasons – to raise donations to help Maine people in need and to gain new members. This annual fall event also helps Maine children in need during the holidays with toys.

Friends for Friends invites you and your family to the 3rd Annual Pig Roast & Toys for Tots drive on Saturday December 3rd from 4-9pm at the Odd Fellows Hall, Routes 90 & 1, Warren Maine. Although this is primarily a pig roast, ham & baked beans will be served along with rolls, biscuits, desserts and other homemade comfort foods. This is open to all members of the community – the public as well as our members.
During this event, we’ll have music, a children’s craft corner, Mr. Richard Vargas from Toys for Tots and lots more activities!
At the children’s craft corner, which starts at 4pm when the doors open, we’ll have all the supplies needed to make Christmas tree decorations which will be donated to area nursing homes to help brighten their holiday season.
The baked bean and ham supper will be served at 5pm and the pig will be served at 6pm. This is a responsible BYOB event.
Admission is by donation only – which makes you a member!
If you can’t attend the dinner but would like to donate a new or gently used toy, stop by the Odd Fellows Hall after 12pm and help us fill the trucks! If you would like to volunteer for the event or would like to make some homemade goodies, please contact friendsforfriends@roadrunner.com.
