Portland, ME - Don't miss one of Portland's great holiday traditions! Christmas with Cornils, A Kotzschmar Christmas focuses on the magnificence of the Kotzschmar Organ. Portland's own municipal organist, Ray cornils, programs an evening that sparkles with the splendor of brass, the exquisite sounds of Choral Art Camerata, the Parish Ringers and more for an unforgettable holiday experience.
Please come out to this great event at Merrill Auditorium in Portland, ME at 7:30pm on December 20th.
Also, that week is The Victorian Nutcracker presented by the Portland Ballet Company on Friday, December 23rd at 2:00 and 7:30pm.
Join Portland Ballet, Portland’s premier professional dance company, for a magical journey through Victorian Portland to the enchanted Kingdom of the Sweets! This classical Nutcracker story is set in beautiful Victorian Portland, with sets and costumers inspired by the Victoria Mansion. PBC dancers bring this tale to life accompanied by the Portland Ballet Orchestra under the direction of Lawrence Golan. A grand holiday tradition for all ages!
Portland Ballet Company is heralded for talented dancers, exciting choreography and innovative collaborations. The PPH said of their recent performance, "a glorious, deeply moving performance by Portland Ballet Company."
