Mid-Coast, ME - For all Mainers, we have found out today that a new feature length film called "Anatomy of the Tide" will be premiering sometime in 2012. This film was actually filmed in Owls Head, Rockland, Tenants Harbor, Thomaston and Vinalhaven, Maine. We found out the story line behind this movie from IMDb and The Maine Film Office along with the movies website.

Three island boys, in their final summer of adolescence, look beyond an ocean that has incarcerated them since birth to plot their hopes and dreams. Dark secrets, fearful parents, and wealthy seasonal influences all combine into a recipe of tragedy and triumph. Anatomy of the Tide is exactly that, a boy's lesson to his friends on how to jump the island's most dangerous cliff by understanding the sea which breathes beneath her rocks and a moon that controls the water.

Two Tides Entertainment as the production company with a budget a 1 million dollars and directed/written by Joel Strunk.
