North Miami, FL - On December 26, 2011, Adam Irigoyen was presented with the highest honor a city can bestow! He received the key to his hometown city of North Miami from none other than the Mayor, George Vallejo! Back in the medieval times, the key symbolized access through the old walled gates of city, and afforded the holder unlimited entry. Today, this is the highest civic honor a city can offer, saved only for esteemed visitors, or residents that have become a type of city hero.
Disney star, and social activist Adam Irigoyen, was so humble and honored by the offering. In addition, his family couldn’t be more proud. He was joined by his mom, Annie, his father Eric, his oldest brother Eric, and of course, his little brother Jake! It truly is a dream come true to this young star. And he is so thankful for the honor!
