The themes are, staying true to yourself, following your dreams, celebrating friendship and family resonate in "Frenemies".
There are three story lines in Frenemies that follows an inseparable science-whiz Jake and his dog, Murray, Avalon and Halley, best friends who are overjoyed when a publisher wants to turn their fashion blog, Geekly Chic into a magazine, but their friendship is put to the test when they learn that the magazine only wants one of them to stay on as senior editor. The third story line follows tomboy Savannah who comes from a large, high-energy family meets privileged, uptown girl Emma, who looks like her twin. The two girls become fast friends and decide to trade places for a while, but realize that life on the other side, although fun for a moment, isn't what it's cracked up to be. That is just the beginning of the third story line, you will have to watch "Frenemies" to see what happens.
Stars in "Frenemies" are Bella Thorne and Zendaya as Avalon Greene and Halley Brandon, Mary Mouser playing the roles of Savannah and Emma, Nick Robinson as Jake Logan, Stefanie Scott as Julianne, and Winston as Murray The Dog. This movie is executive produced by Leslie Morgenstein and Bob Levy, directed by Daisy Mayer and written by Dava Savel, Wendy Weiner, Jim Krieg and Shelley Mansell as movie's costume designer. Frenemies is a production of Alloy Entertainment and Coin Flip Productions along with location shooting in Toronto, Canada.
