Entertainment Report: Shealeigh Wins Disney's Next Big Thing

Los Angeles, CA - Radio Disney and Disney Channel audiences have voted and Shealeigh Voitl of Chicago, IL has won Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing Wednesday evening at the Americana in Glendale, Ca. Wednesday evening was Disney's Next Big Thing concert finale. At the concert Cody Simpson performed and Jake Whetter announced this years winner. Some talented people who were there are, Stefanie Scott (ANT Farm), Bella Thorne, Zendaya (Shake It Up), Tay Barton, Hollywood Ending, Ladina (This years contestants) and Zack Montana, who was a finalist. Both Zack Montana, Shealeigh are talented and great singers with a bright future ahead. Since Shealeigh won this years Disney's N.B.T contest, she will have a busy schedule with the following activities. 


As winner of N.B.T., Shealeigh will join Ernie D in-studio for a Take Over airing Friday, December 9 (6:00 p.m., ET/3:00 p.m., PT) on Radio Disney. She’ll also be spotlighted in a feature airing on Disney Channel during a new episode of “A.N.T. Farm” at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT.

On Saturday, December 10, Shealeigh will take the stage opening for “N.B.T.” Season Three winner Kicking Daisies, as well as “N.B.T.” alumni  and Disney Channel star Coco Jones (“Let It Shine”) at Radio Disney’s final “N.B.T. On Tour” concert in Celebration, Florida.


Shealeigh will have a new single released by Disney Music Group and “What Can I Say,” the song she performed throughout “N.B.T.,” will be featured in “Radio Rebel,” an upcoming movie starring Debby Ryan that will premiere early in 2012 on Disney Channel.
