Switched at Birth starring Katie Leclerc, Vanessa Marano, Constance Marie and others returns January 3rd, 2012 on ABC Family with an all new episode entitled "Starry Night" at 8pm. In Starry Night tensions are high between Daphne and Bay as they clash over Emmett. Upset over her father’s return, Daphne heads to the music festival where Toby, Wilke and Emmett are performing, to try and get some alone time with Emmett, much to his surprise. Bay insists on seeing Angelo again, so John asks Regina to chaperone their meeting, causing them all to think about what life would have been like. Meanwhile, Kathryn goes behind John’s back to speak with the nurse that Angelo thinks could help them win the lawsuit against the hospital.
Switched at Birth is about the story of two teen girls who discover that they were accidentally switched at birth. Bay Kennish grew up in a wealthy family with two parents and a brother, while Daphne Vasquez, who lost her hearing as a child due to a case of meningitis, grew up with a single mother in a poor neighborhood. Things come to a dramatic head when both families meet and struggle to learn how to live together for the sake of the girls.
