MSOC: Gross earns second NAC Defensive POW honor‏

WHITINGHAM, Vt. - For the second time this year, Husson sophomore goalkeeper Cody Gross has been named the North Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
The Fair Lawn, N.J., native tallied 218:15 minutes of action this week as the Eagles went 1-0-1, including a 2-1 double overtime win at Maine Maritime in league play. Gross posted six saves in a scoreless tie at Colby (Maine). The keeper then went on to make nine saves in a the win over the Mariners that has the Eagles unbeaten in four-straight overall.
Gross (5-2-1) has two shutouts this year and is allowing only 1.46 goals per game.
