Rockport, Maine - The Everyman Repertory Theatre received a $5,000 grant from the Theatre Fund of the Maine Community Foundation to help fund its 2013 season. “This is the fourth time we've received this grant from MCF,” said Everyman Rep’s Artistic Director Paul Hodgson, “virtually every year since we were founded in 2008. We’re incredibly lucky to have this fund in the state and we feel very lucky to be receiving this level of commitment from it. We promise to live up to expectations.”
The Everyman Rep’s 2013 season starts off early in the year, thanks to the MCF grant, with The Eight Reindeer Monologues by Jeff Goode, a complete antidote to virtually any other Christmas show out there. The show will be presented on 4, 5, and 6 of January at the Center for Maine Contemporary Art in Rockport. Evening shows will be at 7pm with a Sunday matinee at 2.30pm. “People will have been running
around like turkeys with their heads cut off during the entire Christmas period, then this weekend turns up and hopefully everyone will be thinking: “Oh, boy, what are we going to do now?” and there we’ll be with this absolutely hilarious show.
Please check the Everyman Rep’s website (everymanrep.org) and our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/everymanrep) for further announcements. Tickets will be available on line and from the box office 207 236 0173
