Hermon scored 4 runs in the Top of the 7th inning on 3 Oceanside errors, RBI singles by Keith Pomeroy and Adam Rush and a sacrifice fly by Kevin Johnson to give the Hawks the road win. Rush also homered for Hermon, while Jacques Lebonte pitched a complete game, striking out 8 and walking 3.

Titus Kaewthong had 3 hits and 3 RBIs for Oceanside including a 2 run homer in the bottom of the 7th to make it a one run game. Logan Sheridan’s RBI double gave Oceanside a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the 6th.  Sheridan also went the distance on the hill for Oceanside, striking out 3 and walking just 1.
