BREAKING NEWS: Southern Maine Firefighters Battling 3-Alarm, Mult-Acre Sanford/Kennebunk Wildfire

UPDATE 9:10pm: According to Maine Forest Rangers, UPDATE-KENNEBUNK: Fire is in 3 towns- Kennebunk, Sanford and Wells. Approximately 60 acres, 50% contained. Structure protection for several homes in place. District Ranger Harris serving in unified command. 4 Rangers on scene with firefighters. Two dozers are lining fire.

From District Ranger George Harris at the Incident Command Post - we have assigned a Ranger Investigator to work on determing the origin and cause of this fire in Kennebunk.

UPDATE 7:42pm: 18 fire departments are on scene, 5th-alarm fire.
BREAKING NEWS: Sanford/Kennebunk, Maine - Multiple southern Maine fire departments, plus Maine Forest Service are battling a 3-alarm, mult-acre wildfire at the Sanford/Kennebunk town line, near wild turkey lane on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018 in Sanford/Kennebunk, Maine.
