Proceeds benefit hospital upgrades and health career scholarships
BRUNSWICK, ME — Mid Coast Hospital Auxiliary announced that $61,607 was raised at last month’s three-day “Grand and Glorious” Yard Sale.
Auxiliary President Cyndy Bush commented that this was one of the best years in the 21-year history of the sale. “Once again, the Mid Coast Hospital Auxiliary is astounded by the level of community support for this wonderful event,” she said. “The annual yard sale is our signature event to raise money for health career scholarships given to local students and also supports a financial pledge to critical hospital projects.”
“Every year, the Auxiliary and volunteers work tirelessly to make this event a success and we are so appreciative of their time and talents,” Bush said. “We thank everyone that participated whether through donations, volunteering, or purchasing.”
Lois Skillings, President and CEO of Mid Coast–Parkview Health commented, “Each year, the yard sale proves to be a tremendous success. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of so many, this fundraising effort has played an integral part in completion of major projects at Mid Coast. We are so grateful to the Mid Coast Hospital Auxiliary, volunteers, and attendees for supporting our mission to care for the health of our community.”
