Men’s crew 4 boat wins at regatta

LOWELL, Mass. — The Colby College varsity 4 club boat won in a field of 16 boats at the Textile River Regatta on the Merrimack River on Sunday.

The crew of Tomotaka Cho (coxswain), Liam Rex (4 spot), Ethan Ashley (3), Robbi Melvin (2), and Dan Spellman (1) had a time of 22 minutes, 22.801 seconds.

 

The Colby men’s club 8 boat took seventh place out of 14 boats in 20:50.403. Cho was the coxswain for Christian Papadellis (8), Will Gross (7), Don Whitcraft (6), Ben Swift (5), Tim Ryan (4), Makoto Kinoshita (3), Sam Subbukumar (2), and Paul Dougherty (1).
