Buglary to Motor Vehicle Arrests

Bangor, Maine- At about 04:15 AM on Feb 19th, a woman called from a residence on the Silver Rd and reported finding footprints in the fresh snow around her car.  It appeared that someone had unsuccessfully tried to enter her vehicle.  At 4:40 AM a resident of Deer Isle Rd called the PD and reported three men in the area dressed in snow clothes and that it looked like they were trying to get into cars.  Numerous officers responded to the area and were able to locate and detain three young men.  As a result of the officer’s investigations these three men have been arrested and charged with numerous crimes:

1)      Bryce Celino, 21 years old of Bangor was charged with 1 count of Burglary to a Motor Vehicle, and 1 count of Violation of Bail

2)      Joshua Soule, 20 years old of Bangor, was charged with 2 counts of Burglary to Motor Vehicle and 2 counts of Theft

3)      A 17 year old juvenile from Bangor was also in connection to these cases.  He has been charged with 1 count of Receiving Stolen Property, 1 count of Possession of Dangerous Knives, and 1 count of Possession of Schedule Z drugs (prescription pills that he did not have a prescription for).

The officers involved in these arrests recovered a great deal of property that we believe was stolen through the course of the night, from numerous different neighborhoods on the west side and Capehart areas of Bangor.  As Bangor residents get started with their day several will find that they were the victim of a car burglary.  We ask that these folks call the police department to make a report as we may very well have recovered their missing items. This case is still under investigation and the suspects may face additional criminal charges when we are able to connect them to other crimes.
