COUNSELOR TOM SHANNON
Counselor Shannon is on travel to Abuja, Lagos, and Monrovia from February 26 through March 5. In Nigeria, Ambassador Shannon is traveling as the leader of a Presidential Delegation to Nigeria’s Centenary Celebration in Abuja. He will then travel to Lagos for discussions on a range of issues of mutual interest, a visit to a U.S. Government assistance project, and to meet with Nigerian youth. Counselor Shannon will also travel to Monrovia to open the second meeting of the U.S.-Liberia Partnership Dialogue, and consult with stakeholders on areas of Liberia’s progress and development.

SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE FOR GLOBAL PARTNERSHIPS ANDREW O’BRIEN
1:00 p.m. Special Representative O’Brien co-hosts a lunch meeting with Moroccan Ambassador to the U.S. Rachad Bouhlal at the Moroccan Embassy, in Washington, DC.
