On October 21 at 8am, the “doors” will open to our Chamber of Commerce auction, which will take place online at www.BiddingforGood.com/PBRCCAuction. There are already over 195 items up for bid, with new items arriving on a daily basis. All money raised supports our mission of promoting the interests of our members by advocating for the commercial and economic development of the region.
The fourth largest chamber in the state of Maine (and the largest chamber representing smaller, coastal communities), we are one of the largest membership-driven community organizations in the area. The online auction bidding will run from October 21 at 8am through November 11 at 9pm, with about 100 items heading to a live auction on Saturday, November 16 at the Rockland Elks Lodge, located at 210 Rankin Street in Rockland. There will be live auction items, cash raffle prizes, raffle items, cash bar and a concession stand. Bruce & Becky Gamage will be our auctioneer team.
The live auction items will be clearly identified on the web site and absentee bidding will be available for those that cannot attend the live event.
The PBRCC Auction is a valuable online marketing tool for businesses and organizations. All you have to do to participate is donate an item. In return, your business receives:
• Valuable marketing exposure—bidders from across the country will be viewing your item or service and hot-linking to your website;
• Local interest in your products/services through our weekly e-mail communications and our other powerful promotional vehicles aimed at encouraging PBRCC members’ participation;
• An instant link with potential future customers both in- and out-of-state.
Though the PBRCC Auction is still a little over a month away, we’re eager to accept donations of items to put up for bid on our special auction web site. The sooner you sign on, the more promotion you’ll enjoy as an Item donor.
