Farm to Sea Auction October 3 in Brunswick

Brunswick, Maine - On Thursday, October 3 The Community Schools at Opportunity Farm and Camden will host their annual Farm to Sea Auction from 6-9:30 pm at the Frontier Café in Brunswick.  This year’s event includes light supper, live and silent auctions and the live tunes of Maine Bluegrass Band The Potato Pickers.   Items available for bid include fantastic jewelry and artwork, Red Sox Tickets, New York Giants Club seats, 200 gallons of heating oil, a Bayside Bowl party for 40, Portland Ovations tickets, a private cocktail party, the chance to write a travel piece for Maine Magazine and more, including get-a-ways to Nantucket, Islesboro and Sebago Lake; five days in the French countryside and a six day African Safari.

All proceeds benefit The Community Schools at Opportunity Farm and Camden, an alternative high school serving teen parents and those at risk of not graduating. Last year, the schools graduated 28 students and this year they are serving 70 students throughout Maine.
