OWLS HEAD, Maine - This fall will mark LifeFlight's 15th year caring for the people of Maine and want their patients, friends and supporters to help them celebrate the 15,000 lives they've touched.
Join them for a semi-formal Chef's Gala at the Owls Head Transportation Museum, just south of Rockland, on Saturday, October 12, 2013 from 6pm to 10pm. Tickets are $125 per person or $1,000 for a table of 8, and include a feast of delectable tapas prepared by the midcoast's best chefs.
Some of the culinary artists featured are Kerry Altiero from Cafe Miranda in Rockland, Melody Wolfertz from In Good Company in Rockland, Scott Yakovenko from The Slipway in Thomaston, Max Miller from The Landings and Josh Hixson from 40Paper in Camden and 3Crow in Rockland.
Guests will be able to tour one of LifeFlight's helicopters and the evening will feature some of our most powerful patient testimonials. The Tony Boffa Band will be playing the area's best dance music following the program.
RCN America Network hopes as many that can will attend this event for a great cause. LifeFlight is vital part of Maine that saves countless lives with their service.
