Portland, Maine - Delirium Pageantry crowned it’s first state titleholder of the 2014 pageant season. Brittany Jacquelin Bearden,22, of Presque Isle, Maine, was crowned Miss Maine U.S. International 2014 at the end of the pageant held at Bright Star World Dance in Portland on Sunday, September 22, 2013. Bearden is also a former Miss Maine Collegiate 2012.
The first runner-up was Katlynn Gallant,17, of Winslow, Maine who was also the recipient of the Pageantry Magazine Spirit Award.
Bearden will represent Maine at next year’s Miss U.S. International Pageant in Orlando, Florida June 23-29. Miss U.S. International, which is produced by Harrison Productions L.L.C., is the official qualifier to the 54th Miss International Beauty Pageant, the 3rd largest beauty pageant in the world. Over 80 countries participate annually in this Grand Slam event.
The current Miss U.S. International is Andrea Neu of Colorado and the current Miss International is Ikumi Yoshimatsu of Japan.
