Wheelchair Donation To Central Maine Medical Center

Lewiston, Maine - DONATION FUNDS CHAIR PURCHASE – From left, Central Maine Medical Center volunteers Harold Warner, Jacob Charest, and Jeanne David show off new STAXI chairs in the hospital’s main lobby. Funded by a donation by the CMMC Woman’s Hospital Association, the five new chairs are stationed in lobbies at 60 High Street and 12 High Street to provide patients and other customers with comfortable, safe transportation within the hospital. The STAXI chairs are designed to be easy to control and clean. They also accommodate people of any size. CMMC is always in need of new volunteers to provide front desk greeter and valet parking services.
