BREAKING NEWS: Ogungit, Maine - The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a missing man off the coast of Ogunquit. The call of a man in the water came in around 11:30pm Thursday. The Coast Guard says a group of five people went out on a late-night cruise on the fishing vessel "The Clover." They were about one mile off Perkins Cove when they decided to go for a swim. One of the swimmers, a woman, began to struggle. A 51-year-old man disappeared in the water while trying to help her get back to the boat. The man's name is not being released at this time.
The Coast Guard has a helicopter in the air now, as well as two search boats and assistance from the York Fire Department and the Maine Marine Patrol unit.
