Belfast, Maine - State Police are asking for the public's help this morning in locating a man considered armed and dangerous following the shooting of two people overnight in Belfast. One woman is dead and a man was critically wounded in a shooting inside a home at 162 Waldo Ave, which is also Route 137. Police are seeking 44 year old Todd Gilday of Belfast who is driving a 2007 gray Nissan Altima with Maine lobster plate FOREX. The wounded man was rushed to a hospital and is undergoing emergency surgery.
Gilday is 5 foot 9 inches tall and weighs 280 pounds. Anyone seeing him or his car, should call 911 immediately. Belfast Police and the Waldo County Sheriff's Office responded to the shooting scene about 11 pm.
