Royal Caribbean Serenade of the Seas Makes Debut Rockland Visit

Rockland, Maine - Royal Caribbean Serenade of the Seas made it's debut visit to Rockland, Maine on October 4th, 2015. Serenade of the Seas 2000+ passengers while ashore could visit Camden, custom tour of the area, visit the many stores along Rockland's main street and more by around 16 tour buses or they could take a taxi.

According to Rockland Main Street, Rockland's mayor Frank Isganitis led a delegation aboard the Serenade of the Seas on Sunday morning, where the ship's captain accepted the key to the city. During a special reception that included members of Royal Caribbean's Pinnacle Club, the captain presented checks for $2,500 each to three deserving Midcoast charitable organizations: Trekkers, Area Interfaith Outreach, and Broadreach/Youthlinks. In addition to the leadership from those organizations the delegation included representatives from the business community, the city, the chamber of commerce, and Rockland Main Street, Inc.

Serenade of the Seas is a sleek and sunlit ship built with panoramic vistas and wide-open spaces. Enjoy the ship's view with floor-to-ceiling glass windows.  She was completed in 2003 apart of the Radiance class.

This ship can carry 2,490 passengers and 891 crew members.

You can catch Serenade of the Seas as it will make a second Rockland visit around October 12th, 2015.

Royal Caribbean has no planned visits to Rockland in 2016.
