The Eagles tallied 36.36 ground balls per game last season en route to an 8-6 record, including a 6-2 mark in NAC play and a berth in the conference tournament semifinals.
"All the ladies deserve recognition for the hard work that was put into this statistic," coach Madeline Hoeppner said. "Ground ball control plays a big part in the possession game. The fact that we were able to come up with the ball first says a lot about the integrity of our team."
Former Eagle defender Hayley Thibeau and midfielder Rashell Saucier led the team with 73 and 72 ground balls, respectively. Both players were voted to the All-NAC first team.
