Arthritis Care Now Available at Mid Coast Hospital

BRUNSWICK, ME – Midcoast residents diagnosed with arthritis and other musculoskeletal diseases now have high-quality care available close to home. Mid Coast Medical Group – Rheumatology opened on Monday, September 9 and is currently accepting appointments and referrals. The office is conveniently located at 121 Medical Center Drive in Brunswick, on the Mid Coast Hospital campus.

“We are grateful to be able to offer a service that is so much in need,” said Dr. Scott Mills, Vice President of Medical Administration and Chief Medical Officer at Mid Coast Hospital. “Local patients and providers can feel comforted knowing that expert rheumatology care is now available without traveling long distances.”

Rheumatologist Diana Vradii, MD, has recently joined the active medical staff of Mid Coast Hospital and will head the new practice. Dr. Vradii earned her medical degree from the State Medical and Pharmaceutical University “N.Testemitanu” of the Republic of Moldova. She completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, followed by a Rheumatology Fellowship at Boston University Medical Center. She has specialized training in Scleroderma, Vasculitis, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, and ultrasound-guided joint aspirations and injections.


“I look forward to working collaboratively with local primary care providers and other specialty groups,” said Dr. Vradii. “Having access to resources and specialties improve outcomes, providing the highest quality care for our patients.”
