The 4th annual motorcycle Torch Ride to benefit Special Olympics Maine will take place this Saturday, Sept. 7 at the Owls Head Transportation Museum.
Registration opens at 8 a.m. and the cost is $25 per rider. If you want to go on the ride and don’t have a motorcycle, you can ride the bus for $25.
The cost includes the ride, bbq, entertainment and admission to the museum.
Kick-stands go up at 9 a.m. and the ride heads to Belfast, meets at Reny’s Plaza, then continues to Texas Roadhouse in Augusta.
The ride returns to the Owls Head Museum approx 2 p.m. and guests will enjoy a bbq and entertainment by the popular band, Crossin’ Mason Dixon.
Local Special Olympics athletes will be on the bus during the ride, and then will enjoy the bbq and entertainment the rest of the afternoon.
