Boothbay, Maine - A charming love story, delightful comedy and memorable music will bring The Boothbay Playhouse's 2013 season to a close with the world's longest-running musical, The Fantasticks. It is a timeless tale - full of magic and moonlight - of a young boy and girl who fall madly in love but soon grow restless and disillusioned. Matt and Luisa are in love but find their relationship challenged by their intruding fathers and a bandit narrator know as El Gallo. This tender coming -of -age story with beautiful music and a dose of nostalgia is a guaranteed treat for all. Pictured are top row: Nicholas Carroll as The narrator, El Gallo and Nick Mirabile as The Wall, middle row: Nick Azzaretti as Hucklebee, Roger Reed as Matt, Devin Domeyer as Luisa and Dan True as Bellomy, bottom row: Joe McGrann as Henry, the old Actor and Cole Domeyer as Mortimer, the man who dies.
