Santa Claus Comes To City of Rockland

Rockland, Maine - Apart of Rockland Main Street Inc Festival of Lights is the annual noontime arrival of Santa Claus by U.S Coast Guard Boat at Middle Pier. People young and old gathered in numbers to see the annual arrival of Santa Claus on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Once Santa Claus arrives at Middle Pier kids have the great opportunity to meet this jolly old guy before heading to his workshop by horse-drawn carriage. At Santa's workshop boys and girls had a opportunity to get a photo with him as well as what they want for Christmas.



Tonight is the annual trap tree lighting at 6pm at Mildred Merrill Park overlooking Harbor Park than the Parade of Lights tomorrow at 6pm along Rockland main street. Festival of Lights is one of the events Rockland Main Street Inc puts on every year.
