Boothbay Harbor Windjammer Days is a week long festival and is the cornerstone of summer traditions in the Boothbay Harbor region. From the Grand Gathering of the Windjammer Fleet to a golf tournament, road race, tug of war across the harbor, pirate duels and fireworks, this festival has something for everyone! There’s food events and live music, a lobster eating contest, codfish relay rock skipping contest, and so much more. Like parades? Spend the week and you can catch an Antique Boat Parade, Blessing of the Fishing Fleet, Windjammer Days Street Parade, and the Lighted Boat Parade. Best of all, many of the events are free! Something that is not an easy find these days. It is the collective passion for the sea and for keeping traditions alive for future generations that drives this event. Visit Boothbay Harbor Windjammer Days for a complete schedule and to view our Lodging Partners who invite you stay.
