Rockland, Maine - At their July board meeting the Maine Lobster Festival’s Board of Directors donated $250 to Look For The Helpers, accepted by founder Michelle Robinson.
Look for the Helpers is a picture book to aid first responders when communicating with non-verbal, hearing impaired, medically impaired, and foreign language speaking individuals. The books include pictures for allergies, tools, sign language, and more. The goal is to get a book into every ambulance, fire truck, and police car in Maine.
“We are happy to donate to such a worthy cause that will benefit many in our community,” said Maine Lobster Festival President Cynthia Powell.
