Road To 2015 Maine Sea Goddess- Rockland Coast Guard Base Tour

Rockland, Maine - The Maine Lobster Festival is still weeks away, but, on Thursday the 9th the Sea Princesses for 2015 met for a tour of the Coast Guard Station at Rockland.  Seventeen girls and in only a 20 days one will be crowned the Maine Sea Goddess for 2015.  Before that can happen there is a lot of work to do.

This first meeting is to give all the girls a chance to meet each other and to meet the staff and judges.  The tour of the Rockland Coast Guard Station gives the girls a look into the very important roll the Coast Guard play along the coast of Maine. They also learned the significance of Rockland being an official Coast Guard City, one of only a handful in the entire country.The girls were treated to a great presentation and tour of some of the boats.Rockland.
