Rockland, Maine - At the North Entertainment Tent, Fifth Freedom made their first appearance at the Maine Lobster Festival on Thursday, July 30th, 2015 in Rockland, Maine. This band's genre of music is Hard Rock/Southern Rock and are from Portland, Maine.
Since its inception in the early 2000's, Fifth Freedom has struggled and fought for every inch
it has gained, intent on bringing its own unique blend of heavy hitting, hard rock music to the masses. Songs that tell stories of what it is to be human, songs that hit hard and leave a lasting impact on their listeners - music that isn't afraid to be loud, aggressive and in-your-face while still touching on the subjects everyone can relate to. From the very first note to the last sustained chord, Fifth Freedom is a musical force to be reckoned with.
Fronting this band and owing much to its continued success is founding member; Alan Jones. Known for both his incredible voice and impressive guitar skills, Alan's success as a songwriter is easily derived from his passionate and heart felt lyrics. Singing as he plays, his heavily blues rock influenced guitar playing compliments and completes each song. From the screaming blues solos to the chugging rhythms, all of these pour from his trusty Gibson Les Paul, affectionately known as "Melody". His dedication and passion to his craft leave him the undisputed leader and soul of Fifth Freedom.
