Dermatologist Peter H. Bouman, M.D., of Bates Mill Dermatology in Lewiston, and physician assistant Matthew Bureau will provide free skin cancer screenings.
Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States, with some two million people diagnosed with the disease every year. One in five Americans develop skin cancer during their lifetime.
The screening will be offered in the Central Maine Heart Associates offices, located near Central Maine Medical Center’s main lobby at 60 High Street in Lewiston.
