Oceanside JMG Program Hosts School-wide Career Day

Rockland, Maine - The Jobs for Maine’s Graduates program at Oceanside High School is planning a Career Day for the student body for May 16th, 2014 on the East Campus in Rockland.  It will be a half-day of school committed to students exploring career opportunities and making connections with working professionals in their fields.

The morning will include keynote speakers, Chris Rector and Dan Bookham, and the 600-plus students will have the opportunity to attend both the Career and College Expo, with over 50 exhibitors, and an hour long breakout session on a focused career area with professionals from a local business.

The Oceanside JMG program still has room left for the Career Day  They are looking for:
Maine businesses and non-profit organizations interested in promoting careers in their industry.
Maine businesses and non-profit organizations interested in recruiting high school graduates or student employees.
Non-profits interested in recruiting volunteers
Post-secondary education institutions interested in recruiting students
