Sweetgrass Farm Winery and Distillery, a producer of wines and spirits including the popular Back River Gin and Three Crow Rum, is hosting Dean’s Sweets and KupCakes Inc. at their new Old Port Tasting Room and Shop, 324 Fore Street. Dean’s Sweets, winner of the Best of Portland, will be sampling their truffles such as the new espresso buttercream and the popular salt caramels, always nut free. Raspberry truffles dipped in dark chocolate pair wonderfully with our Bleujolais wine. KupCakes Inc., a specialty cupcake baker in Portland, will be sampling chocolate delights like double chocolate, chocolate salted caramel, and specialty spring flavors like vanilla cappuccino and vanilla orange cupcakes. Double Chocolate cupcakes pair so nicely with Sweetgrass’s new Rhubarb Smash dessert wine. Mother’s will receive a complimentary
engraved wine glass with their wine tasting.
