Registration for Criminal Law, Juvenile Law, Child Protective and Emancipation Minimum Standards Training (Video Replay)

MCILS has scheduled Video Replays of the following Minimum Standards Trainings:

- Criminal Law, Thursday, June 12, 2014 (7 CLE credits, lunch provided)

- Juvenile Law, Monday, June 23, 2014 (7 CLE credits, lunch provided)

- Child Protection, Tuesday, June 24, 2014 (5 CLE credits, lunch provided)

- Emancipation, Tuesday, June 24, 2014 (2 CLE credits)

The trainings will be held at Room 110, 19 Union Street, Augusta http://goo.gl/maps/kN5Pg

These trainings satisfy the minimum requirements for assigned and contract counsel to be eligible to accept assignments in the areas of Criminal Law, Child Protective, and Emancipation matters under MCILS Rule, Chapter 2. These trainings have been approved by the Maine Board of Overseers of the Bar for Continuing Legal Education Credits.

The minimum eligibility requirement for assigned counsel for Juvenile Law case assignments, as outlined under MCILS Rule, Chapter 3, include: attendance at the Juvenile Law minimum standards training and six months of criminal or civil experience.
