Our thoughts are with the citizens and visitors of Boston tonight. While this terrorist attack was senseless and disgusting, as they all are, we also recognize the heroes who rose to the challenge. First responders, members of the military, and even ordinary citizens sprinted in to the danger zone to help the casualties. Marathon runners altered course to area hospitals to donate blood. The people of Boston opened their homes to those who’d been displaced. It is this human spirit, good people willing to help other good people, that will prevail. We outnumber the evil doers, and always will.
