Orono, Maine — University of Maine Cooperative Extension has resumed the seasonal publication of its monthly online newsletter of gardening tips and ideas, "Maine Home Garden News."
The newsletter is available on the UMaine Extension website (umaine.edu/gardening/maine-home-garden-news), complete with an RSS feed.
"Maine Home Garden News" was created in response to increasing requests for information on garden planting, growing and harvesting. Available through October, the newsletter provides home gardeners — beginners or experienced — with research-based information from UMaine Extension specialists, educators and horticulture professionals, as well as Master Gardener Volunteers statewide. In addition, a monthly to-do list is provided for the garden and yard related to fruits, vegetables, flowers, lawn care, trees and shrubs.
