Wiscasset, Maine - Olympian Julia Clukey will be speaking to Wiscasset High School students on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 10:30 AM.Clukey, an Augusta native, is a member of the of the USA National Luge Team and has competed in World Cup and Olympic events (Vancouver 2010.) In February, 2013., she captured two Silver Medals at the World Cup competition in Lake Placid.
Clukey will be speaking to students as part of the responsibility campaign sponsored by the Maine Beer & Wine Distributors Association. Her message will emphasize the importance of individual responsibility. “I hope to share my story and the importance of good decision making and responsibility with as many students as possible,” says Clukey.
