Friends of Blue Hill Library Film: Days of Wine and Roses

Blue Hill, Maine - The Friends of the Blue Hill Public Library Film Series continues on Thursday March 14th at 7:00 PM with Days of Wine and Roses (1962), starring Jack Lemmon and Lee Remick, and directed by Blake Edwards.

The film is about a couple who struggle with alcoholism and try to quit several times, only to succumb to drinking once again.  When he finally shakes the habit, she is unable to quit drinking and for the sake of their child she leaves.
