105.5 FRANK FM ADDS RED SOX BASEBALL


105.5 FRANK FM (WBYA-FM, Islesboro), a member of the Binnie Media family of radio stations, has announced it has reached an agreement to bring Boston Red Sox Baseball back to MidCoast Maine radio for the 2013 & 2014 seasons. 105.5 FRANK FM will air all 162 regular season games along with all playoff games should the Red Sox qualify for postseason play. The first broadcast will be on Monday, April 1st as the Red Sox open the 2013 season against the New York Yankees in New York.

“We’re excited to add Red Sox baseball to our schedule of local programming”, according to Pat Collins, Vice President of Operations for Binnie Media New England, which owns and operates 17 radio stations in Maine and New Hampshire.

“The Red Sox are part of the New England fabric and we are very happy that thousands of local fans will be able to hear all of the games no matter where they are in the region.”

105.5 FRANK FM, MidCoast Maine’s home for Classic Hits, will air the games in FM Stereo, giving fans a clear, crisp sound as they enjoy broadcasters Dave O’Brien and Joe Castiglione call of the game.

105.5 FRANK FM has also been MidCoast Exclusive home for High School Basketball since 2010.
