Construction to Start on Route 3 in Trenton


Trenton, Maine - Beginning April 1st, crews will be back to begin preparing areas along Route 3 in
Trenton for construction that will last through mid-June.

Work includes adding turning lanes, installing guardrails and sidewalks as well as finishing the paving effort from last season. This work will be conducted Monday through Saturday with two lanes of traffic open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Alternating one-way traffic will occur from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

While paving isn't expected to start until mid-May, all other work will commence as weather allows.

All roads will remain open and businesses will be accessible. However, please allow a little extra travel time through this area.
